OK, I’m not exactly hip to what the young folks these days are listening to. Yes, I know who Leona Lewis is, but only because I have a twelve year old. This video by Paolo Nutini is over a year old, so I’m not exactly with it, I know. But I just discovered Paolo last night, on Austin City Limits. I think he’s great.
Don’t let the name fool you: he’s from Paisley. (That’s in Scotland, for those of you who don’t where Paisley is. That’s in the UK, for those of you who don’t know where Scotland is. For those of you who don’t know where the UK is, if you that ignunt you need to get off the blog.)

I do know where Paisley is and my 12 year old knows who Paolo is. Seriously everyone who wants to stay culturely informed needs a 12 year old daughter.

Someone burned me a copy of Paolo’s album last year. He’s not exactly my cup of tea, genre-wise, but definitely mega-talented.
